The apartments are cute and have character--wood floors plus central air at a reasonable price is a steal for Montrose. And as far as the laundry room crime postings--I really appreciated the fact that Andover was honest about occasional car break-ins and bicycle thefts because most apartment offices are not so forthcoming. Andover wanted their residents to be on the alert and to be proactive about their personal safety which shows that they cared. I was a single girl, living on my own and I never felt that my personal safety was threatened while living at Andover. I lived in a massive apartment complex before Andover and I never knew who belonged and who didn't. Andover is small enough that you will recognize your neighbors and if someone doesn't belong, its rather obvious. I even left my bike outside (with a good U-lock) and never had problems with theft. I have recommended Andover to several of my friends and several of them chose to lease and are still living in Andover buildings. Price, location and great maintenance are Andover's strong points. A great deal for students.
