| When I moved in here in December of 2003, the place was great. It looked great and all of the residents were wonderful. Crime was something I never heard of. Now it is commonplace. Things started to go downhill in early 2005 and have progressively become worse. I wanted to move out in September 2005 but ended up having to stay because hurricane Katrina left little vacancy anywhere.
The place looks great but there are serious security issues here. You would think that as much as we are paying for rent that there would be some kind of security but nope. In the last year or so I have lived here I would say that a car is stolen, someone is robbed, or an apartment is burglarized once a week. I've seen cars left on blocks and I've seen obvious drug deals go down here as well. Another point, a lot of nice cars that never go to work....I think you can figure that out.
Also, I have higher electric bills at this apartment than my parents do and their house is triple the square footage of my apartment. $220 electric bill for the month of May on 1050 square feet? Something is wrong. Moving out at the end of August and will be smiling ear to ear as I drive through that gate for the last time.
Oh, and don't think you'll ever get anything accomplished with the staff here either. |
