Reviewer:   Acboxer@msn.com   Review Date:  6/12/05      Rate This Apartment     I had problems with the leasing office before I even moved into Las Ventanas. After setting up the apartment, I come to find out the week of my move in date, that my apartment has been leased to somone else, and the only one available is one on the 3rd floor (I originally had the 1st floor), in addition, they also lost my deposit. I moved in only becauase i didnt have enough time to find another apartment complex. and thats when the real fun began. First of all the management changed. The first team was horrible, and this one is not much better. Quite frankly for the $810.00 a month I pay, I do expect at least a return phone call when i have a problem, I do not expect to have to hunt down the exact person I need over the course of a week and a half. Here's the top reasons NOT to move here: 1. Parking. good luck with that. theres not enough spaces for the apartments. not even if you include the covered parking you have to pay for. in my building alone there are 10 apartments and only 4 parking spaces. Not to mention other buidings around this one have the same problem. Even if you pay for one of the covered areas, the space is usually not near your apartment. 2. Trash. This really upsets me. They have the nerve to add a trash charge to the bill, and yet every single week the trash overflows from the bins. I dont reccommend paying 810.00 to have to look and deal with that. 3. Management. They suck, plain and simple. if you walk into the leasing office pray that someone is there. On 3 seperate occasions I went in to find a line of residents and potential residents waiting for someone to come out of the back, and all 3 times everyone wound up leaving before a single person came out (I even called the office 2 times on my cell phone to tell them we were waiting on them.) 4. Pool/fitness - Horribly maintained. Garabage all over the pool area and the fitness room looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a few weeks. I broke my lease early because of the standards this coomplex has. I don't mind paying 810. for a one bedroom, but I do expect the little things to be taken care of. Dont rent here. Its not worth the headache.
