and then they got new management, and things went to hell. the pool area is always filled with frat boys who drink booze while swimming and leave trash everywhere-- ever been hit in the head by a beer bottle while swimming with your niece? it's AWESOME. the trash compactors are always overflowing with garbage. inexplicably when they switched from internal billing to MasterTek, my water bill (same usage) more than doubled. there are quite a few people who live here now that I'm almost certain sell drugs. A couple of them I've seen doing so in the parking lots. oh and the parking lots. I really hope you don't drive a car because you'll be parking in Timbuktoo.

and now it's summer, and everyone in my building is suffering through this god-awful ant infestation. they bite us in our sleep and leave red welts on our hands and feet. we've called the office several times and nothing has been done yet.

this place has really gone downhill. inside of my apartment, it's all nice, but the rest of the place is shit. if you're the kind of person who loves to waste your money, come to Las Ventanas.

PS when the new management took over, they started sending out these community-wide threatening-tone letters about how everyone better pay attention to all the rules. what a way to speak to the people you're hired to get along with, right?
