When I went to go look at the apartment they did'nt have an apartment downstairs for me to look at but they said it was handicap accessible and the leasing agent said if the doorway was not big enough for my wheelchair to fit through that they would widen the door at their cost. When I moved in I could not get into my bathroom and when I called the apartment office they said it was not their problem. I was beginning to get sores on my knuckles from crawling on the floor. I had no choice but to vacate the apartment because of the living conditions. Also, there was meldew on my cabinet doors and they came to take the cabinet doors and never came back with new ones. Two months later after I moved I got a letter in the mail from Summer Cove and they were wanting $8,000 in 30 days or they were going to turn me into the credit bureau. When I called Summer Cove about the letter they told me it was not their fault I was handicapped and couldnt get into my bathroom. They told me that they knew I could not pay the $8,000 back and that they were just wanting to screw mw out of ever renting again. The leasing agent also accused me of false accusations and called me handicap. If you are thinking about moving here you are the ones that will be screwed because of people like Summer Cove employees. They havent heard the last of me yet!!!!!
