Reviewer:   Mellieann@hot.rr.com   Review Date:  3/24/06      Rate This Apartment     My boyfriend and I went in and applied for this apartment and we put the initial deposit down as well. We were then never contacted by anyone in the management. We had to call them to find out anything. The first call was that they needed more info. Two weeks passed and no answer was recieved about the status of the application and we had decided to stay where we currently live. We called back to tell them to cancel the application which apparently had been approved and they hadn't bothered to let us know. We live three hours away so its not like we can just drop in. We asked for the $200 deposit back on an apartment we had never lived in and had no clue we were even approved on. They told us it had been taken as "liquidated damages" for the week they held the apartment that we had NO clue we were approved on. Basically, we are out $200 for nothing. So keep your money and go somewhere else, if this is how your treated prior to move-in, imagine if you actually lived there.
