Apartment Review for Village On The Lake - Houston, TX

The grounds are well kept, clean, and relaxing. The inside of the apartments are a cut above, but you pay for it - the rent is high. The guest parking is awful unless you have no friends or family, and you will be towed or ticketed if you park along a curb. The guest parking is non existent. Maintenance apparently is short staffed - there is always a wait. The office makes up a gazillion excuses when they know something is wrong and they don't want to hire it fixed because the maintenance staffed isn't equipped to handle it. For such a huge complex they don't have adequate maintenance. The complex is quiet and friendly. The security gates are often malfunctioning, but the office will let you know if there has been a security problem or theft, and it is well lit.
