Apartment Review for Champions Village - Houston, TX

I was a resident for 7 years. Initially it was good when Cheryl Phillips was the manager and Cheryl King. However, Pam took over and the place went downhill. An eviction notice was served the same day my rent was due. The water bills continued to skyrocket. They wouldn't fix the plumbing, and the roaches kept increasing even with pest control. With Cheryl and Shauntae, the water was free, and you even had a grace period til the 3rd of every month. Needless to say I asked why they served an eviction notice, Pam said it was company policy. I then gave them a notice that I'd be leaving and bought a house in which I moved. Out of retalition Pam filed a false credit report trying to ruin my credit even though I had given them a notarized notice 60 days ahead of time that I was leaving. I moved into a 5 bedroom house and it's a great neighborhood on a Cul-De-Sac. Pam is currently being sued for her underhanded behavior of filing fraudulent and false claims with the intention of mailiciously damaging tenants credit, and that place is not one I would recommend for friends of family. Very awful and horrible experience with Pam. Stay away. Piece of advice: ALWAYS GET A NOTORIZED NOTICE WITH INTENT TO VACATE AND KEEP A COPY. IN CASE PAM DECIDES TO RETALIATE AGAINST YOU FOR MOVING OUT YOU CAN ALWAYS PRESENT YOUR COPY AS PROOF TO THE COURTS THAT YOU GAVE THEM PRIOR NOTICE.
