Apartment Review for Gables Windmill Landing - Houston, TX

The older post doesn't apply to what this place is now. Its horrible the average tenants stay about one year and the ones who have stayed longer like me regret it big time. I can't wait to move out now. It wasn't really like this when i first moved here cause i was oblivious to what was happening. The crime rate is to high for me not to notice now. All the robberies that's been happening lately is scaring me to death. Stupid is bliss. My advice to anyone who might a think about moving here needs to really find another community. Gables Windmill landings is horrible. I should of noticed it when we first moved in back in 2007. about 5 months after we moved in there was a brake in at one of the apartments. No one really knew except for the office. Cause the victim came to me and my husband and ask if we knew the number for the office since it was late and closed. I happily gave him the number and he told me that he was just burglarized while he was away for a funeral. He didn't even know that he was burglarized until he got home the office didn't' even call him?!?! They just left a note on his door with ribbons to inform him his apartment was broken into and they had to change to locks. WTF we should of noticed that. Now i truly regret living here and is scared because i can't move. I'm also scared because i can't brake my lease i will probably have to wait til my lease ends. Don't make the same mistake as i did. We have already been robbed once and it scares me to think when are we going to be robbed again?
